Vehicles are weighed on a weighbridge on entering the site.
At the same time the customer is identified remotely and an
order input form for that customer is displayed on the operative's
monitor. The driver issues the order to the operative via an
intercom system. The operative completes the online order form
and sends the driver to the appropriate loading point.
The vehicle is remotely identified once more on arrival at the
loading point and is loaded automatically with the quantity
and type of material ordered. On leaving the site the vehicle
passes over a weighbridge, where it is once again weighed and
identified.
The system calculates the net weight of the material supplied
and prints a delivery note for the driver. The customer is invoiced
automatically.
